Moore Mesa #146

The Moore Mesa Trail #146 begins at the end of Forest Service Road #531, Moore Mesa Road, and ends at an intersection with the Roubideau Pack Trail #544. The trail wonders across Moore Mesa with Criswell Creek on the west and Moore Creek on the east. After about 1.5 miles, it follows and old two track and continues a gradual descend for the next 2.3 miles until it ends at the Roubideau Pack Trail.

Directions

From Montrose: Travel west on Highway 90 for approximately 23 miles to the intersection with Forest Service Road #402, North Divide Road. Follow FSR #402 for approximately 12.5 miles to FSR #531, Moore Mesa Road. Turn north onto FSR #531 and continue for approximately 1.6 miles to the end of the road where the trail begins.
