Timber Sales
The Timber Sale Program on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests supports restoration projects on 5 districts covering over 2 million acres. The 2400-6 Timber Sales and 2400-13 Stewardship contracts the program sells and administers have provided steady work for multiple local logging companies and raw materials to a variety of local mills for generations. The program succeeds in sustaining the health, diversity, and productivity of the forest to meet the needs of present and future generations.
