The Forest Service’s Southwestern Region, including the Carson National Forest, are hiring permanent positions in wildland fire for summer 2025.
Job openings on the Carson National Forest are all in wildland fire and located at the hotshot base in Taos and all district offices in Bloomfield, Canjilon, El Rito, Penasco, Questa and Tres Piedras.
This year’s permanent jobs are:

- · Fire Engine Operators
- · Prevention Technicians
- · Dispatchers
- · Wildland Firefighters
- · Hotshot/Handcrew
