InciWeb is the official location for fire information on the Carson National Forest. Significant wildfires are usually posted within 24 hours of a new start.

With fire season arriving, here are two simple and clear guides for area residents:

Prescribed Fires

There are currently no plans for prescribed fire activites in spring 2025.

Report a Wildfire

If this is an emergency, call 911. To report a wildland fire, use the map to locate the appropriate Dispatch Center to contact.
