Permits for forest products are available for purchase at Ranger District Offices and the Supervisor's Office. Not all forest products are available on all districts.

Other Permits
Mineral Permits
The Ranger Districts on the Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands sell rock or sand/gravel permits for personal use only. Contact the ranger district for information.
Christmas Tree Permits
Christmas Trees will go on sale on Recreation.gov November 2025 for all participating Districts. Tree cutting season will begin on Thanksgiving Day and run through December 31st.
