Many activities and events that take place on national forest lands are considered special uses and require a permit from the Forest Service. This page provides more information on specific types of permits.

Outfitter Guide

Submit ALL proposals and applications at least 180 days ahead of your intended start of operations. Complex proposals will likely take longer than 180 days to process.
