Kiowa, Rita Blanca, Black Kettle, and McClellan Creek NGs Revised Land & Resource Management Plan
On September 5, 2012, the U.S. Forest Service unveiled the new Kiowa, Rita Blanca, Black Kettle, and McClellan Creek National Grasslands Land and Resource Management Plan (Grasslands Plan). The new Grasslands Plan became effective October 16, 2012. The new Grasslands Plan, Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (FPEIS), and Record of Decision (ROD) are available for download (see "Decision" links under "Project Documents" below). The appeal filing period for the Grasslands Plan decision ended on December 19, 2012 (see "Legal Notice - Newspapers of Record" under "Decision" links below).
