Directions

From Boise, Idaho, travel along State Highway 55 to Smith’s Ferry and turn west onto Forest Service (FS) Road 644 for 1.9 miles to the junction with FS Road 626. 

Turn right onto FS Road 626 and travel 7.5 miles to FS Road 614. 

Turn right onto FS Road 614 and proceed 4.1 miles around the east and north sides of Sagehen Reservoir to FS Road 622. 

FS Road 622 is 0.3 mile east of the junction of FS Road 614 and FS Road 609 on FS Road 614. 

Turn right onto FS Road 622 and follow this road 3.9 miles to its end. 

There are two directional signs along this road to the trailhead.  The trailhead is at the end of FS Road 622.
