Deer Creek Guard Station Cabin

Deer Creek Guard Station is 14 gravel miles up Greys River Rd from Alpine, just past Murphy Campground. Bunkbeds accommodate 8 people; summer water is provided for kitchen and bathroom. Propane heat, cookstove and lights offer rustic amenities. Winter outhouse is nearby. In the summer, Forest Service horses may be grazing around the compound, so vehicles may be left outside the pasture gate if preferred. A visitor corral is provided behind the cabin as well.
