Powerline Jumps Trail

Difficulty: Moderate Trail Use: Heavy

Length: 0.75 miles

Elevation: 7360 ft at trailhead. 7145 at trail end.

Open to: Mountain Bikes, one way down hill traffic only.

Trail Highlights:

  • All of the Powerline jumps have relatively short gaps and very long landings so speed is your friend here. All jumps have ride around options and the trail is relatively low angle. This is a great place for intermediate jumpers to get used to extended air time. The end of this trail intersects with a service road. Turn left and climb a very short distance to Old Pass Road just above Crater Lake and the Parallel Trail trailhead.

Options:

  • Skip the shuttle and earn your turns by parking at the base of Old Pass Road and climbing the old highway (closed to motorized traffic) to the trailhead.

Important Information:

  • This trail exits into a heavily travelled multi-use area. Expect to encounter hikers, equestrians, dog walkers and uphill cyclists. Upon exiting please ride slowly and respect others.
  • Trail conditions constantly change due to environmental factors and frequent modifications. Always inspect features before using.
