Badger Trailhead

This trailhead is for entry into the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness, not the Kaiser Wilderness.

The Badger Flat Trailhead is located on Kaiser Pass Road next to the Potter Pass Trailhead. The Badger Flat trail is 3 miles long and intersects with the California Riding and Hiking Trail which continues to Rock Meadow and Coyote Lake. The Badger Flat trail receives less use than the Potter Pass trail which is very popular. The trail eventually becomes a faint user trail which descends to Big Creek at an elevation of 7985 feet.
