Bunchgrass Lake

This lake was originally maintained by a log dam and it contained native Cutthroat. The dam is now gone and very little water remains. It is now mostly marsh and wetlands.

This is a 640 acre nature resource area. No motorized access allowed near this area.

Directions

From Ione, WA:  From Ione take HWY 31 South .09 miles to Sullivan Lake Road/Country Road 9345. Turn left and follow Sullivan Lake Road for 6.5 miles. Turn right onto Harvey Creek Road/FS Road 1935000 for 12.5 miles. End at dispearsed site and overlook of the meadows.
