Clark Ridge #363

This 4.5 mile long trail travels up the hill for approximately .25 mile to the junction with the Tiffany Lake Trail #373. The trail continues on to the left through the former Isabel fire and prolific regrowth of Alder and Lodgepole pine. The trail then breaks out into Clark Basin with views to the south of open wildflower strewn hillsides and surrounding mountains. The trail ties into the North Summit Trail #369. The trail is rated more difficult. Water is available about 1 mile into the trail and at Clark Basin. Accessible from the North Fork Salmon Creek Trailhead.

Directions

From C o n c o n u l l y, drive through town to the north on County road #2361 which turns into Forest Service Road #38 at Forest Service boundary. Continue on Forest Service Road #38 for 9 miles to Salmon Meadows Campground and junction with the Forest Service Road #3820. From campground travel on Forest Service Road #3820 for 1 mile to the North Fork Trailhead.
