North Summit #369

This 5 mile Trail travels north using switchbacks to ascend up to the ridgeline towards Clark Ridge. From the open ridgeline the trail travels to Whistler Pass with great scenic viewing opportunities throughout the whole trail journey. Most people stop here at the top of Tiffany Mountain, 7,700 ft.. Wildflowers are prolific in late summer into fall. The trail is rated as more difficult. No reliable water is available on the trail. Junctions with Clark Ridge Trail #363, Bernhardt Mine Trail #367, and Freezout Ridge Trail #345 are found along the trail route. The tail begins at North Fork Creek Salmon Trailhead and has the optional end at North Summit Trail #369 on Forest Service Road #37. Accessible from the North Fork Salmon Creek Trailhead.

Directions

From C o n c o n u l l y, drive through town to the north on County road #2361 which turns into Forest Service Road #38 at Forest Service boundary. Continue on Forest Service Road #38 for 9 miles to Salmon Meadows Campground and junction with the Forest Service Road #3820. From campground travel on Forest Service Road #3820 for 1 mile to the North Fork Trailhead.
