Granite Mountain #355
This 5.5-mile trail is rated as most difficult and is open to motorcycles as well as hikers. Parking is at Granite View Trailhead. Caution: only experienced motorcycle riders should attempt this trail as the top becomes steep, with numerous switchbacks and eroded trail conditions due to past fire activity. Once on top of the trail, there are great views of the North Cascades and the Conconully area. And, most likely, a great sense of solitude.
