Ochoco Divide Sno-Park

Ochoco Divide Sno-Park is located just off Highway 26 and just below Ochoco Summit.

From the large parking area, Snowmobile Trail (#1) heads east and links up with a network of snowmobile trails associated with Walton Lake Sno-Park.

The parking area is surrounded by many large ponderosa pine trees that give it a secluded feel despite its close proximity to the highway.

Ochoco Divide Sno-Park is ideal for people who prefer to travel on relatively well-maintained roads in the winter and recreate in areas that are less crowded.

General Information

Open 24 hours/day

All Sno-Parks on the Ochoco National Forest require a valid Oregon State Sno-Park Permit from November 15 through April 30.  Permits may be purchased in Prineville at the DMV Office and at Bi-Mart. When a Sno-Park Permit is purchased, the fees help pay for the road plowing that allows access to the Sno-Parks. Oregon also honors Sno-Park Permits from Idaho, Washington, and California. Please display a valid pass on the dashboard of your vehicle for the duration of your visit.  Thank you!
