Wiley Flat Campground

This rustic campground in the Maury Mountains surrounds Wiley Creek, which is a shallow, narrow body of water ending at the small meadow within the perimeter of the camp.  It is not uncommon to see horseback riders stopping for a noon break from a local outfitter guide service.

There is a 14 day stay limit on all National Grassland and US Forest Service land including but not limited to campgrounds and other developed facilities. 

This is a free facility.

Directions

From Prineville, Oregon:

Take Highway 380 southeast toward Paulina.

Travel approximately 32 miles to the third bridge.

Turn south onto Forest Service Road 16. 

Follow Forest Service Road 16 approximately 12 miles to the Wiley Flat sign.

Then turn right onto Forest Service Road 16-400.  

Make sure to stay left at the large ponderosa that seems to be in the middle of the road and continue for less than 1/2 mile to the actual campground.
