North Fork Catherine Creek Ford Replacement
North Fork Catherine Creek provides spawning and rearing habitat for spring/summer Chinook, summer steelhead, bull trout and redband trout. The North Fork Catherine Creek ford is currently a partial fish passage barrier during times of low flows. This project proposed to remove the existing ford and replace it with a full channel spanning bridge. All work will stay within the existing road prism. After project completion the site will be rehabilitated. Project benefits include improved fish passage, improved natural flow pattern of the stream channel and reduced risk of structure failure.
