Sandbox Vegetation Management
Sandbox Vegetation Management project will improve forest health and develop defensible fuel profiles in areas that are prone to natural wildfire. This project proposes areas of mechanical harvest/removal and prescribed burning, precommercial thinning, stocking density reduction, tree planting, hazard tree removal, road and soil restoration, and harvest removal by tractor, skyline and/or helicopter systems.
