Sheep Creek Large Woody Debris and Planting Project
This project would place 27 wood structures along approximately 2.5 miles of Sheep Creek and plant approximately 3,500 deciduous seedlings and 3,500 deciduous cuttings on NF land. Each structure would average 7 pieces of large woody debris, therefore needing an estimated 192 pieces of woody debris for the structures. An excavator would be used for woody material movement and structure construction. This project will improve habitat and survival of spring Chinook salmon, summer steelhead, and bull trout.
