Chicken Creek Culvert Replacement
The current Chicken Creek culvert on the 5100 road is undersized and posses as a passage barrier for spring/summer Chinook, summer steelhead, bull trout, and redband trout. This project would replace the culvert with a new bottomless arch culvert that would withstand high flow events. To prevent erosion, protection measures such as riprap would be placed on the side slopes. Replacement of this culvert would improve passage for juvenile summer steelhead to reach their spawning grounds.
