Billy Branch Picnic Area
Billy Branch Picnic Area is located off KY 801 on the shores of Cave Run Lake. This 8,270-acre lake provides flood protection to the lower Licking River valley, supplies water to area communities, improves water flow conditions on the Licking River, and offers habitat for many species of fish and wildlife. The site has designated parking, visitor information, trash collection and picnic tables.

Day Use: $5/day; $7/3 day; $50 annual per vehicle.
Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount.
A Daniel Boone National Forest recreation pass (hang tag or sticker) must be displayed inside vehicles parked at the boat ramp. Passes may be purchased from Forest offices or local vendors for $5/day; $7/3 day; $50 annual.
