Claylick Boat-in Campground

Claylick Boat-in Campground has 13 primitive campsites on Cave Run Lake. The campground must be entered by boat or by walking in from the nearby Claylick Boat Ramp parking lot. The walk is approximately 1/2-mile. Boat moorings are available at the campground for those who boat in. Campsites include tent pads, picnic tables, fire rings and lantern poles. There is no electricity or shower facilities.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $15/night.
Double Site: $20/night.
Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY.
*The discount applies only to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass holder, not to any additional fee or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party.*

A fee is required to use this campground. Pay at site using fee envelope. $15 single site/$20 double site. Note: A Daniel Boone National Forest recreation pass (hang tag or sticker) must be displayed inside vehicles parked at the boat ramp. Passes may be purchased from Forest offices or local vendors for $5/day; $7/3 day; $50 annual. 

*America the Beautiful Interagency Senior and Access passes will provide a 50% discount when purchased from a Forest office.

Directions

From I-64, take exit 133 (Farmers Sharkey) and go south on KY 801. In 13.7 miles, 801 merges directly onto KY 1274. After another 1.9 miles, turn right onto Forest Service Road 968 (Claylick Road). A vehicle parking area is located on the left. The Claylick Boat Ramp is located at the end of the road.
