Clear Creek Boat Ramp
Clear Creek Boat Ramp is located off Clear Creek Road (#129) near the start of Zilpo Scenic Byway. A variety of wildlife, including rare birds, calls this location home year-round. Clear Creek Lake area provides access to Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail #100, as well as a small and tranquil picnic area, parking area and campground. Like the rest of the byway, fall is a particularly good time to visit Clear Creek Lake, as it is a popular migration stop for ducks and geese. Fishing is not allowed from the boat ramp, but once you are in the water, you will find a wide variety of fish species. The 40-acre lake is stocked with bluegill, bass, and catfish and is open to non-gas powered motorized vessels. Swimming or sunbathing within 100 feet of any boat launch ramp or courtesy boat dock is prohibited for public safety. The nearby Scott Creek Marina is a full-service marina where boaters may purchase fuel, groceries and other supplies.
