Hemlock Grove Picnic Area
Hemlock Grove Picnic Area is located off Rock Creek- Bell Farm Road (Forest #137) in McCreary County and features three double sites, three single sites and a first come, first served group shelter. Rock Creek, a Kentucky Wild River, flows adjacent to the picnic area and is stocked with rainbow trout. The area also serves as a trailhead for a 5-mile loop using Mark Branch Trail #635, Gobblers Arch Trail #636 and Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail #100. Along the way, hikers will see Gobblers Arch, a sandstone arch with a height of nearly 12 feet and a base width of 50 feet.

Directions
From Whitley City, travel south on US 27 for 1 mile and turn right onto KY 92. Travel 5.3 miles then turn left on KY 1363, travel 11.4 miles to the end of the blacktop. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 564 (Bell Farm Road) and travel 1.2 miles before turning left onto Forest Service Road 137 (Woods Road) and continuing for 2.6 miles.
