Redbird Wildlife Management Area
Redbird Wildlife Management Area is cooperatively managed with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources to promote and sustain native wildlife populations. The 24,033-acre area is mostly forested with approximately 100 acres of openings and more than 25 miles of trails. The terrain is hilly to steep with gentle slopes in bottomlands and on ridge tops. The area has no developed facilities.
Located 7 miles west of Hyden, KY, the area includes lands in Clay and Leslie counties.
