Rock Bridge Recreation Area

Rock Bridge Recreation Area is located at the end of Rock Bridge Road (#24) in the Red River Gorge and provides access to the popular Rock Bridge Trail #207. The short loop trail leads past Creation Falls and Rock Bridge Arch. Rock Bridge Arch is the only arch in the Red River Gorge that extends over water, creating a "bridge" over Swift Camp Creek. Hikers seeking a more challenging experience can continue past Rock Bridge Arch onto Swift Camp Creek Trail #219 which leads deep into Clifty Wilderness. The site has designated parking, visitor information, trash collection and a picnic table.
