Swain Ridge Trailhead
Swain Ridge Trailhead is located off Forest Road 52 near Beaver Creek Wilderness. From the trailhead parking lot, Bowman Ridge Trail drops down to Beaver Creek into the heart of the wilderness with trail connections to Middle Ridge Trail, Upper Bowman Trail and Upper Bowman A Trail. The trailhead has minimal development but provides visitor information and parking.

Directions
From the Stearns Ranger District Office, travel on US 27 north approximately 5 miles. Turn right on to KY 90 and travel approximately 4.6 miles, then turn left on to Mill Creek Rd. and travel approximately 2.4 miles to Funston Goodin Rd. Stay on that road 1.5 miles, then turn left on to Swain Ridge Rd. and follow to the end of the road.
