Twin Knobs Day-Use Area
Spend the day at Twin Knobs Recreation Area and relive your summer camp memories! Take a short hike along the shore via Twin Knobs Shoreline Trail #1702 or take in the views from Knob Overlook Trail #1700. Volleyball courts, basketball goals and horseshoe pits are waiting for a quick game or check out the summer programming at the Amphitheater. Have a quick lunch or pick up supplies at the Twin knobs General Store and then spend the afternoon lounging on the sand beach or swimming in the roped swimming area. The nearby bathhouse is a great place to wash off the day before heading home.

Day-use only: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Day Use: $2/person (applies to pedestrians, cyclists and commercial vans and buses.) $11/vehicle with up to 6 persons ($2/additional passenger.)
Interpretive Programs: $9/vehicle with up to 6 persons.
VISTA Annual Pass ($56) provides fee-free access.
Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount.
Pay at site using cash, check or card.
Pets allowed. Pets must be leashed and cannot be left unattended. You must clean up after your pet.

Coming from Lexington, Kentucky, on I-64, take exit 133. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp to proceed south on KY-801. Proceed 8.4 miles on 801. The Twin Knobs Recreation Area entrance is on the right.
