Permits
The USDA Forest Service manages natural resources to meet sustainable resource management objectives. In order to meet these objectives, permits may be required for the occupancy and use of national forest lands. Issuing permits to gather forest products ensures the health, diversity, and productivity of these specific resources for generations to come.
Permits for forest products are available from Ranger District Offices. Please contact the local Ranger District Office for information. Please call ahead, as appointments are strongly suggested.
