Spring Lake Rd Bridge Closed

The Big Shoal Creek Bridge on Spring Lake Road on the Mount Magazine Ranger District will be closed beginning Oct. 19. The repairs are expected to be completed by the end of the year. Visitors will be able to ford the creek upstream from the bridge in low water conditions. For safety reasons, forest officials are advising visitors to not attempt crossing the creek in periods of rainfall and high water.
