Passes
Day Use and America the Beautiful Passes are available at most Ozark-St. Francis National Forests' offices. Some sites are only open part-time, may change what passes are issued, or be out of passes. Please call the site(s) prior to traveling to obtain the most current hours of operation and information on availability of all passes.
The Forest Day Use Pass is an annual pass that is available for purchase at any of our offices. This $30 pass allows day use access to the following recreation areas:
- Barkshed
- Blanchard Springs
- Horsehead Lake
- Lake Wedington
- Long Pool
- Mill Creek
- Moccasin Gap
- Redding
- Shores Lake
- Sorgum Hollow
- Spring Lake
- Syllamo Bike Trail
- Wolf Pen
America the Beautiful Passes are a suite of annual and lifetime passes that provides U.S. citizens and visitors an affordable and convenient way to access Federal recreational lands. These passes are available at any of our offices. Please see below for cost and requirements:
- Access Pass (those with permanent disability)- $0 (must show documentation of proof)
- Annual Pass- $80 (now available as a digital pass on recreation.gov)
- Military Annual Pass (active duty and dependents)- $0 (must show documentation of proof)
- Military Lifetime Pass (veterans and Gold Star families)- $0 (must show documentation of proof)
- Senior Annual Pass (62+ years)- $20
- Senior Lifetime Pass (62+ years)- $80
4th Grade Pass- $0 (pass valid during student's 4th grade year)
