Catamount Trail - Pony Hill Reroute

Re-route approximately 450 feet of the Catamount Trail (x-country trail). This project was previously published in the Schedule of Proposed Actions (SOPA) as needing to be documented in a Decision Memo citing category 36 CFR 220.6(e)1): "Construction and reconstruction of trails". Further analysis has led the Responsible Official to categorically exclude this project citing a category that does not require a Decision Memo per 36 CFR 220.6(d)(4): "Repair and maintenance of roads, trails, and landline boundaries". Thus it has been cancelled from the SOPA and is no longer subject to notice, comment and appeal procedures per 36 CFR 215.
