Hune Bridge Campground
Access the Hune Bridge Campground along the National Forest Covered Bridge Scenic Byway (S.R. 26) in Washington County. The campground is located across the historic Hune Covered Bridge. The campground has four camping sites just below the covered bridge on the Little Muskingum River. This campground is also a canoe access point and trailhead for a 5-mile hiking trail to the Rinard Covered Bridge.

Directions
From Interstate 77, take Exit 1 (S.R. #7). Go towards Marietta on S.R. 7. Turn right at Acme Street (the first light). Acme St. ends at Greene Street. Turn right on Greene St. (S.R. 26). This campground is approximately 12 miles north of Lane Farm Campground. GPS Lat/Long coordinates for the area are 39 deg 30' 36" / 81 deg 15' 02".
Notice as of September, 2020Hune Covered Bridge connects Route 26 (which runs west of the Little Muskingum River) with Hune Bridge Campground on the east side of the river. However, Hune Covered Bridge is currently closed due to a land slippage. To access the campground, please follow the detour route below.
From Route 26 North Of Hune Covered Bridge, Near Wingett Run:
- Take Scottown Road (Twp. Rd. 35) across the Little Muskingum River.
- After a short drive, turn right onto Smith Road (Twp. Rd. 408).
- Follow Smith Rd./408 south along the river until you reach the campground.
