Ohio View Trail
Current Conditions
All trails west of State Route 7 and south of State Route 260 on our Marietta Unit might have sections with heavy, downed trees due to the July 21 storm. Personnel are aware of the situation and working to clear these areas as quickly as possible. Trails remain open, but visitors should be cautious. For your safety, always turn around if a trail becomes impassable.
This trail connects with the North Country trail and winds down to the Ohio River with breath-taking views.
There are two trailheads for the Ohio View Trail. One is at either end of the trail.:
- Ohio View Trailhead (Hwy 260): 81° 6' 15.444" W; 39° 31' 44.4354" N
- Ohio View Trailhead (Hwy 7): 81° 6' 34.272" W; 39° 28' 32.5554" N

Directions
Trailhead is along State Route 7 between Newport and New Matamoras. Trail runs between State Highway 7 and SR 260.
