Comments: Shows extremes in size of [sporothores?] of Fomes geotropus, the larger one (#12374) from inside hollow butt [t??????] gum and the smaller one on cypress. The large one weighed 22 1/2 pounds fresh and the smaller one 1/5 oz. fresh. Plate V, fig. 4a and 4b. Large one a - small one b.
