Comments: Semi-desert grassland Savannah. Relation of physiography & soil to vegetation. Grasses in physically fine surface soils-shrubs most common in coarser soil. Light colored areas Curly mesquite, darker areas, grasses & Triodia, Shrubs have increased density due to past over grazing. Grasses again progrssesing ultimate steps of succession.
