| Comments: | Kaibab Deer Forage Study; Plot No.38 on top of the Kaibab Plateay not far from 3 Lakes showing the excellent growth made by aspen sprouts when protected from deer grazing. Plot fenced in 1925. Sprouts now 3 to 12ft. high. Deer graze all accessible aspen sprouts to the ground annually. If allowed to grow to the sz. shown in picture they would produce more foilage. Summer Range. |
