Comments: | Rio Grande Watershed Survey. Cattle coming in from the back range to wate at Rio Puerco. Ladrone Mts. in the background. The vegetation on the valley floor has been reduced to a few greasewood plants and scattered Russian thistle. Runoff from such areas is rapid and of tremendous volume. |
