| Comments: | Rio Grande Watershed Survey. Head of drainagein semidesert grassland association S.E. of Magdalena Mts. The range is very closely grazed and gullies extend almost to top of each small swale. The soil contains some rock and is fairly resistant to erosion. Runoff from torrential rainstorms is tremendous as evidenced by the flood from thistle and similar area which damaged San Antonio in Au. 1931. |
