Comments: Skull Valley RD. Typical mountain brush range in which perennial grasses and not browses should be used as indicators of grazing use. This range is overgrazed but lightly used currently. The grass is goint out. The remmant in the openings is largely blue grama. Sheet erosion is in an advanced stage and gully erosion is starting. The brush cover is not controlling the run-off. Principal browse species are turbinella oak, manzanita, skunkbush (Rhus trilobata) and siltassel (Garrya sp.)
