Comments: Masonry dam constructed by CCC enrollees of Camp F-29-A. Photo taken to show character of construction work and size of dam. Dam is used to impound silt so that eroded material from drainage area of about 100 acres can be measured. It is expected that basin above dam will also serve as a "sand tank" and provide some water for livestock grazed on surroundings range lands.
