Comments: Spring Valley RD. Plot 13 within bunchgrass clipping enclosure #10. This illustrates the setup and equipment used to measure vegetation composition and density by the line-transect method on these small plots. The transect wires that are located at random and that run lengthwise across the plot are clearly evident. The elevated borders on each side are used as platforms to prevent trampling of the isolation strip. The spikes at each end of the plot are used to anchor the tranect wires.
