| Comments: | Detail of heavily grazed area: Steep Slpe Plots. After heavy storm of 8.5.1939, having 5.02 inches of rain falling in 2.25 hours, showing how the surface has been gouged by accelerated flow which removed loose rock and topsoil to a depth of 6 inches in places. Note exposed roots of grasses and herbs and ridge of loose rock shoved aside by flow. |
