Comments: Prescott N.F. Range study plot P-9-C (old Red Mtn. blue grama plot) on Walnut Creek R.d.; fenced during spring 1939. Dense sod is blue grama with small amount of Mulengergia torreyi, M. repens, Aristida longiseta, and Bouteloua curtipendula. There is a trace of Gutierrezia sarothrae presnet inside the plot but appears to be no reproduction. Trees in background are juniper and seem to be spreading in this area. Photo taken from PP #1(SE to NW corner).
