| Comments: | Range study plot P-9-0 adjacent to old Red Mtn. blue grama plot on Walnut Creek R.d. Grass is mainly Bouteloua gracilis with some Mulengergia torreyi, M. repens, Aristida longiseta, and Bouteloua curtipendula. Snake weed present in small numbers. Some round-joint cacti on plot and may be spreading. Growth on grasses poor during past summer, and there has been considerable grazing on the plot this yr. Photo taken from PP#2 (SE to NW corner). |
