Comments: We lost a court case in R[deleted] where a [deleted] crew drove past a partially open pole gate for a week - never stopping to lock it in the open position. a vehicle driving into the campground at night skewered the gate (similar to the photo [above]) and the driver was killed. We paid because we were on notice , had observed the hazard (several times on a daily basis) , and took no corrective action - which in this case was a simple locking the gate open
