Activities
I assist in field and laboratory research with a focus on the development of native Great Basin shrub steppe species for use in restoration including:
- native plant selection
- seed technology/germination
- agricultural seed production practices
- native plant seed increase
- projection of species range shifts due to climate change
- improved knowledge of invasive species biology and ecology
I also help to provide administrative research and project support for the Boise GSD group and manage the BOIS Herbarium.
Interests
and Hobbies
Native plant ecology, community outreach, horticulture practices, native plant propagation and seeding, conservation practices, program development, hiking, and photography.
