Piedra River Hot Springs

Piedra River Hot Springs consists of several primitive, rock-lined pools that are fed by natural geothermal springs. The pools are set along the banks of the Piedra River, offering a unique combination of hot and cool water for an ideal soaking experience. The hot springs are composed of multiple small pools, each with varying temperatures due to the mixture of hot spring water and the cool river flow. The temperatures generally range from 95°F to 105°F (35°C to 40°C), depending on the season and river levels.

General Information

The best times to visit are in the spring and fall when the weather is mild and the trail is accessible. Summer visits can be enjoyable but may be busier, while winter visits can be challenging due to snow and ice on the trail.
