As a visitor to any National Forest you are asked to follow certain rules designed to protect the Forests and their natural resources as well as provide for the public safety of visitors.
General Prohibitions for all Forest Service Lands
The following regulation describes general prohibitions, closures and regulations for acts or omissions within the National Forest System or on a National Forest System road or trail.

The orders at the bottom of this page describe the prohibitions, closures, and regulations for the Forests within the Pacific Southwest Region Region. These orders are subject to updates and changes.

Alcohol Prohibitions
This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.

National Forest System Road System & Trails Occupancy & Use: Traffic Safety
Operating a vehicle in violation of the speed, load, weight, height, length, width or other limitations specified by the Order is prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region as described in the Order.

Restrictions on Use of Forage and Mulch Products
This Order prohibits unloading, storing, or using any straw, hay, grain, seed, or other forage or mulch products that are not state-certified weed free on the National Forest System lands, roads or trails in any Closure Area as specific in the Order.

Aquatic Invasive Species
This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.
